YOU ARE KILLING EDUCATION, DEAR LECTURERS

Bless you my lecturers, the custodians of knowledge in higher institutions of learning. Many of you are trying, yes, good job, thumb up. Some of you are simply terrible, not knowing what the lecturing job is for. You abuse it, thereby killing the value of education. Lecturers have more works to do than their counterparts in the lower institutions of learning. In the higher institution, the students choose their various professional path, hoping to have a full knowledge and be useful for themselves and their nation at the end but no. Instead of the lecturers seeing them to know what they should know, building them well, you stand as obstacles on their way by failing them. Some of you glory in failing them. You who do it know what I am saying- I say to you sir, ma, your attitude toward your profession is killing education and hurting the nation. Instead of guiding the students in the path of knowledge, you become erujeje, the name student hear and lose their peace, they lose the hope passing no matter how they try.
     Dear lecturers, you are paid to build these students, not denying them of their marks because they fail to satisfy your sexual pleasure, also to keep them in fear of you. Some of them then, fail students not because they were all block heads, it was just to keep students fearing and trembling until their names become synonymous with failure. How can 95% of 300 fail, haven't the lecturer failed in himself? Instead of opening your doors to help students understand better, they see you and expect nothing but zero. Your presence equals low morale. The multitude of spill overs, who spilled just because of your course is your pride and reference, sir, you have nothing to glory in, in that. Too many student already have mindset about their lecturers, this will not allow them to take in what they are passing to them. Even if they take it in, they end scoring the normal, E. You have now turn the acquisition of knowledge, to market square, they pay to pass even those who do not attend lectures. With money they run things, things don't run them.
You are killing education, sirs, mas. Let 80% of your students be able to defend what they are learning with thorough lecturing in different methods. Then others will tell the whole world what they were doing.
   The 'cram and pour' are some of you's favourites. You don't care if they know indeed or not, so far they cram and give back to you what you thought and how you wrote it for them, they are good for the best mark. Later they will not be able to defend it. They cram and pour and have the As. The ones who studied hard and write in their own words are dropped to Cs because lazy men, lazy women can't do tedious reading and researches.             
   I respect you dear sirs and mas but not all of you are giving your best to education. You have many work in one job, lecturing, mentoring, monitoring for quality production. Sometimes, some miss multiple lectures, only to clear all in one or two lecturers With that good success is sure I think! The success of your students is yours. If your students understand and are productive, you will be fulfill, my impact is showing.
    The success of your student is one thing you can show for being a lecturers after them comes cars and houses on fulfilment scale. Please repent, sit down, review your purpose for being a lecturer or how your life can help of those young souls. Don't mar them, make them, give your true best to lecturing, guiding, mentoring and supervising them. With you, the education in this nation will scale heights.
