WHEN I TOOK MY CERTIFICATE

   After I had followed every process necessary, the  lady in charge, gave me my certificate and said, congratulation!
I took it from her and went my way. It was like a A4 paper with a little high quality. Inscribed in it were few words from the school senate. Good!
     As I was going, I thought, 'Letter kills, spirit profit'. It simple, what is written on the certificate is not the true certificate, it is what I had gain in the four years I had spent in school. That certificate is just formality and a witness. The real evidence is what had gone into me and what I can do with it; that is the major defence.
    We need to daily upgrade and update our education system so that the student of each school can be 'certificate' in themselves with paper evidence as the academic testimonial.
Our education system should be the one that focus more on the building students to capacity. Paper certificate can be forged or worked out, the mental capacity cannot, what you know is innate.
There is need for our education system to be upgraded from theoretical system to practical system. At that level, we will have proof beyond  paper certificate.
The practical ability can be liken to the 'spirit that gives life'. What you know and cannot put to practical use is like 'the letter that killeth'.

I bless you my fatherland. May the LORD, who had kept you continue to keep you. May He preserve your unity and give your children the grace to tolerate one another.  May He give your leaders at all levels the wisdom to lead well.
