OPEN LETTER TO OUR NATION ELDERS

Dear Fathers and Mothers,
I greet you elders of this nation. I thank God for keeping you this far, may He fulfil your days. Many of you had served and are still serving the nation, I appreciate your efforts.
More than you have served, I ask you, fathers and mothers,  to speak at the right time, to promote good and consciously condemn evil. Any worthy society look up to her elders for things not to totally go out of control. Agba kin wa loja kori omo tuntun wo. We have good and worthy elders in this nation, learned, of good report, good cautions and have many worthies raised by them and I think we should not suffer like those who have not. Thanks to the elders who  have been speaking out and acting well, age with grace.
Right from the streets, let your voices be heard, correcting, guiding, rebuking, charging all category of people in the society. Keep not silent oh elders, speak correction, speak for, speak against, speak rebuke, speak in love, speak in kindly anger against all this invented evil by men to please their souls.
A society where elders keep quiet things go too wrong, lives lost, destruction of properties, unrest, hunger, many more. When everything seems to fail, protests, comments, advocates, the wisdom of the elders is the invaluable treasure that will bail us out. Many, many  things are here with us which should not be. Do not accept it as the youth way or modern way and  over look it, look into it, they are the things that are here to destroy us. Speak loud and clear against them or they go worse, plaguing us harder.
The nakedness, the whoredom, the greedy hearts, this embezzlement, the lack of value, disconnection from the root, this violence, this disunity, this costly half baking and costly education, speak against it. Your wisdom projected by your actions and speech is needed now.
Thank you great elders. Hoping to see your actions.
