PARENTS PLEASE MAKE EXTRA PREPARATION

It is no news, it is just like a common song, no job, no job, or let me say the jobs available cannot go round the people in need of it. Graduates from different higher institutions keep rolling out every year, people with no formal education also want to make a living. My attention here is on graduates. The issue of unemployment had been for a long time, many able body young men and ladies had stayed without jobs for years. It is fast becoming the belief of people, you have to wait and search for job not minding the years, until you get one,  the search continues.
  I write to urge our parents to please make extra preparation to settle your children after graduation or serving the land. I know it is not that easy for many, who even still have younger ones to train. Hmmm, where there is will, there is way. It is possible.
     Waiting is wasting, one, two, three, four years and up, looking for job is too much to waste of a youthful life. Let our youths, your children invest their strength in doing meaningful for their lives. This time which most of them waste, is the most useful time of their lives when they still have the strength, mental alertness and all for the youth.
     Sit with them and ask, what can they do or what they want to do before getting job they seek. Praying for good job is not enough, help them start something, even if it is small, even if it is in front of your house or street. Don't send them to your brother or sister, who you are not sure of, they will just be using them. Please help them start something before they start entertain strange thoughts and ideas that can destroy them.
May God give us a good change, as things are, please seek to help your children. See them beyond going to school, that is not enough, these days. If you have enough, settle them. Some youths had entered into things they should not because of sitting at home idle. Nothing is too small, give them that first aid settlement in your capacity, make sure you do something,  biko, ejo. When the jobs comes, they can have the small one they have started as another stream of income.
