CHILDHOOD DREAM

To me, childhood dreams are those things we see as our future and we rejoiced at when we were small, in our childhood and teen days, those who could,  pursued it, as spinsters and bachelors even as an adult. Everyone has childhood dreams and it was our pride and boast then, I want to be this, I want to be that. When I grow up, I will do this and that. It burns in our heart and we tell every one who cares to ask or listen.

I took time to ask some teens of same class, what will they like to be in the future, and their response was as follows.

Muideen S.
I want to be a mechanical engineer.
Adejoke A
I want to be a medical doctor.
Damilola A
I want to be a mechanical engineer.
Wumi A
I want to be a medical doctor.
Julius B.
I want to be a medical doctor.
Ruth F.
I want to be a nurse.
Boluwatife A.
I want to be a mass communicator.
Timileyin A.
I want to be a model.
Oluwaseun O.
I want to be a lawyer.
Teniola O.
I want to be a nurse.
Lanre A.
I want to be a neurosurgeon.

These are the dreams of these teenagers of a science dominated class. Their individual dream is their different desire as children and it is what they are working toward to make their future real.

You sure have dreams. What is it or what are they? It is not good to be dreamless, the dream of today is the reality of tomorrow. Are you a child, conceive good dreams and
pursue your them. Are you an adult, and you have left your childhood dreams behind and accepted what life offered you, go back in to those days, renew the fire of  them and have your life restored to you.

Childhood days are beautiful, then we were free and our true who was not hidden but because were little at heart, we could not comprehend most so some slipped away. Only few got it up the ladder, those who could save the things they got and make it a life joy, motivation for living.
