UTILIZE YOUR SERVICE YEAR, CORPERS

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Waaa

It is a beautiful to serve ones fatherland. It has good advantages and if there is any disadvantage, it is human made.
It is goody to you because you are been paid, though token, it is better than nothing.
Let me go straight to my point here. I need you to utilize  your service to your advantage. You know sis and bro how the nation is. There is no many option for immediate job, this must not catch you at unaware. Be prepared for it.
I have few thoughts I want to share with you.

I. SAVE TO START SOMETHING
I know the federal government pays the 'allawee'. I guess your PPA might be paying you according to their capacity. With these two, you will be able to save something. Please for your sake, save something. Save to start something after your service year. I advice 40% of your income. Or you just spend the fed. allowance, keep the your PPA allowance till the end of the year. Then you can get it together and start something with it. Note, it might not be easy but it is possible.

II. LEARN A VOCATION
A year is enough to learn something that can benefit you after service. Here I mean vocation. It may be interior design, event planing, fashion design, catering, graphic design, hair styling, bead making, hat making, making up for others and lot more. You can do as your passion leads, or take advantage of the things available around you with the end in sight that, I AM GOING TO RESUME TO PRACTISING THIS AFTER MY SERVICE. You are not going to regret it as you save to establish yourself in a mini way after. With this you will not be idle or lack necessity as you diligently render your services to others.

III. DON'T HURRY HOME
This is simply, look around you for opportunities that are not available where you came from. Don't underestimate any area, there is opportunity everywhere, if you seek, you will find. Look around you with the eyes to get something. It might even be your PPA, if they are willing to retain you don't say no, in as much you don't have that opportunity around you at home, take it. Don't mind the pay, keep doing it as you search for better job. If what you have learnt is selling good where you served, don't rush home. Dive into the opportunity around you. Don't be quick to rush home. If there is vast fertile land and you can farm, take it up.

The earlier the better to do something for your life. Though family may be demanding, give moderately in other to save. It is frustrating to be idle when you have the strength to work. What you have learnt or started will still be useful when you get the job you seek. Do something now.
