GOD WANT US TO PROSPER

Prosperity to some Christians is synonymous to backsliding. They sometimes complain that, some pastors keep preaching prosperity instead of salvation or the second coming of Christ. Prosperity is not salvation, but there is prosperity in salvation.
It is written, 'Beloved, I wished you above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prosper' After your soul has prosper; you have given your life to Christ as your personal Lord and saviour and walk in his law, the next thing is to be blessed. You should have prosperity and good health to use them. Prosperity is the plan of God for man. 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and every other thing shall be added to you.'  Every other things here stand for the blessing of God and all you will need for a convinent and happy life.
God our father is a God of prosperity, silver and gold is his. All things in heaven and the earth is his. He cannot wish us poverty. He has the mind to bless us, he shew this in the lives of those who truly sought him.

-Abraham was called a friends of God and he was richly blessed. He was rich to the extent that, he had trained servants that were born in his own house(Gen13:15). He was rich, that Christ death baptise us into his riches. God was first in his life and He blessed him abundantly, the blessing flowed to his generation unborn, making a nation out of him.

-David was a man after God's own heart. He single handedly provided those treasures that was needed to build God's temple.

- Job was a man God testified of as 'a perfect and upright man, that feareth the LORD and eschew evil' Job1:8. It was written of him to be 'the greatest of all the men in the east' God placed him above many because he had a heart for him.

-Solomon was great in all things above many but it was said of him that he loves the LORD.

-Joseph was transferred from prison to greatness. He was a man that feared the LORD.
And many of our fathers that were greatly blessed by the virtue of their heart for God. Prosperity is for you if you will put God first.
The Lord establish this in His word. In Psalms 112, it is written, 'Blessed is the man that feareth the God, that delight greatly in his commandment" After he had done this, 'wealth and riches shall be in his house'. In Psalms 1, a man tha does righteously, will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water...
These show that, if you will honour God with your life, prosperity is a reward. In Deut. 28:1-14, If we will harken diligently to God and do as He has commanded, He will set you above nations and command his blessings upon us.
God want us to prosper, He gives the power to get wealth(Deut8:18). He gives the power to created wealth, he empowers for prosperity. To have access to this, you must make God your priority; obeying his instructions and commandments. One of such is giving.
It is written, 'There is he that scattereth and yet increaseth...' Prov.11:24. When you give to God and men, 'It shall be given unto you, good measure, press down, shaking together...Luke 6:38'
-Give your first fruit and your press will burst with wine. Prov.3:10
-Give your tithe and God will open the window of heaven and pour out a blessing. Mal.3:10
-Give to the poor and you will learn to God, who will surely pay back in return. Prov.19:17.
'God is not a robber' If you sow you will reap. What you sow you will reap, in quantity and quality. 'The prosperity of God answer to his covenant' i.e., obeying his commandment as it is written in his word. Give in joy, love, and good heart.
Above all, fear God, love Him, honour Him, put Him first and obey His instruction and you shall greatly prosper. No matter your statutes, if you walk in obedience to his law, you will rise as great. 'As poor, yet possessing nations'
