Health Benefits of Snail

Snail is rich in diverse nutrients good for the body health. We have looked at the different types of snail. Here we will look at the health benefits of snail.

1. PROTEIN
Snail is rich in protein, which is a needed nutrient in the body. Protein is the component of every cell in the body, it builds and repair body tissue, it is needed to make enzymes and hormones and other chemical in the body. It is important in building bones, muscles, cartilage, skin and blood. Protein is a macro nutrient, it is needed in large quantity in the body.

2. IRON
Snail gives the body iron. Iron is needed in the body, it help to transport oxygen throughout the body. It is an important component of haemoglobin, the substance in read blood calla that carries oxygen from your living to transport throughout your body.  Without healthy red blood cell, tour blood can't get enough oxygen, this can lead to fatigue. It is also important in the body to maintain healthy cells, skin, hear, and nail.
    Eating snail is good for pregnant woman, it  can give her needed iron for her and her unborn child. The foetus build it own iron reserve, he takes it from the mother.

3. SELENIUM
Snails have selenium in them which is also very good for the body. It act as antioxidant in the body that fight damaging particles in the body, known as free radical. Free radicals can damage cell membrane, it can bring about health conduction like heart diseases and cancer. Antioxidant can neutralize free radicals. Our immune system need selenium to work properly. Selenium is critical to both male and female reproductive health. Low selenium can lead to deficiency in male and female fertility.

4. MAGNESIUM
Snail contains magnesium. Magnesium help to maintain normal nerve and muscle function support a health immune system, keep the heart beat steady and keep bone strong. It regulates blood glucose levels and aid the production of energy and protein.

5. OMEGA-6
Snail have omega-6 as one of the nutrients they carry. Omega- 6 is very important to our body health, it help strengthen the brain to it much needed function through growth and development. It stimulate the skin and hair growth, maintain good bone health, help regulate the metabolism, keep the reproductive system healthy.

6. OMEGA-3
Omega-3 is another nutrient found in snails. It fights depression and anxiety, improve eye health, promote brain health during pregnancy and early life, improve risk factor for heart disease, reduce symptoms of ADHD(Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), reduce symptoms of metabolic syndrome, fight inflammation and more.

7. PHOSPHORUS
Phosphorus is one the nutrients we can get from eating snail. It is needed in the body for growth and repair of body cell and tissues. Phosphorus is require for variety of biochemical processes including, energy production, bone health.
Women need phosphorus more when pregnant, lactating and at post menopause.

8. CHLORINE
This is a macro-nutrient in the body, needed for liver function, normal brain development, nerve function, muscle movement, supporting energy levels and maintaining a healthy metabolism.

9. VITAMIN
Vitamin include the ability to prevent and treat various diseases including hear problem, high cholesterol levels, eyes disorder, skin disorder
- Vitamin A is useful in treating eyes disorder, infection as well as speeding up the healing process of wound.
-Vitamin B can prevent beriberi, heart diseases and indigestion. It boost the body's metabolism , blood circulation and brain development.
-Vitamin B2 help treat cataract, skin disorders, anemia.
-Vitamin B3 reduces weakness, indigestion, skin disorder, migraines, heart disorder and more
-Vitamin B6 is used in treating diabetes, piles, convulsions, excessive menstrual bleeding, stress etc
