THE NAME OF THE LORD

'A name is a word  or words that a particular person is known by' When you call this word, the person's attention is drawn to you and he or she shows this by responding. The name Jesus is what we use to draw the attention of God to us when we call it. The name of Jesus is very powerful, it carries great power that does unspeakable wonders. The name of the Lord is reffered to as a, strong tower, a place of refuge for the righteous who run into it. No matter the affliction, oppression and cloud of darkness, if one will run to this tower, by calling on God through Christ Jesus, one shall be save.
    The name of the LORD is exalted above every other name (Phil2:9), giving it authority over power and principalities. There is great power in the name of Jesus, it can do numerous wonder, heals the sick, raise the lame(Acts 3:6), cast out demons (Mark 16:17), win battles(1kings17:45), preserves(John17: 11-12)
   The name of the LORD identifys you with God and brings you deliverance when you turn from your evil way and call in Him. 2ndChron. 7: 14.
Jesus promised that whatsoever we ask in his name, God will grant unto us(John16:13), that means the name Jesus, meets your needs.
The name of the LORD is wonder in itself, in it lies mercy, grace, favour, preservation, riches, and all you could ever ask for.
The name of the LORD can save both the saved and unsaved. 'Whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be save'.
Whosoever, whatever you are, the name of Jesus can save you. Wherever you are, in what ever place or so situation, call on His name and he will answer you.
   The name of Jesus carries the power of Jesus. Call him today and you shall be save.
